Love, friendship and music - Woodstock Festival 2011

Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, The 14th Dalai Lama. There's just some of Noble Peace Price Laureates. All great people start from scratch. Jerzy Owsiak started from stammering. With his Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity he raises funds during winter to help national health system in buying expensive and not common, but life-saving equipment. During summer, he organises big free open-air music festival inspired by Woodstock '69 to thank all volunteers. Festival brings hundreds thousand of people looking for few days of total freedom and fun. He's a man who cares about people, about peace, love and friendship.

The reason why I came back from Croatia was at least good.

Good sign is a must
Hitching was great this time. My last ride was one of the most interesting. My company was two young Hare Krishna monks. It was great to listen to their arguments and show mine. We found consensus. On our way to Kostrzyn upon Odra river we picked up six more hitchers. Ride ended right in the middle of festival area - just behind Hare Krishna Peaceful Village.

Worst day for hitching in Poland
Trying to sum it up, there was about 700.000 participants, 3 days of concerts and much more fun than one could expect. This Woodstock Festival can bring significant change into my life. I hope!
